Tracy Glover: Celestial Glass Designs

Post Image

Tracy Glover is a glassblower whose work shines with celestial beauty, as showcased in her Rondel Sconce and Constellation Chandelier. The Rondel Sconce, available in Celery, Persimmon, and Clear, captivates with its perfect shape and light diffusion, reminiscent of everyday delights like buttons and cookies. The Wrap pattern adds a softening touch, with concentric lines that temper the light source beautifully.

In Persimmon, the Rondel Sconce takes on a sweet, candy-like quality, with hues of gold and Aurora evoking the setting sun. For those who appreciate a more classic look, the Clear option with a Black Oxide backplate offers a sophisticated design reminiscent of punctuation marks.

The Constellation Chandelier takes inspiration from astronomer’s charts, featuring sputnik-inspired arms adorned with Rondels. This customizable piece allows you to choose the number of Rondels, their size, finish, and color. The five-arm version with the Wrap pattern perfectly captures the essence of a starry night sky, reminiscent of the constellation Canis Major.

One of Glover’s other notable creations is the Lucia Chandelier, which is sure to captivate with its beauty and craftsmanship.

Tracy Glover’s work is a testament to the beauty and artistry of handblown glass. Her pieces, such as the Rondel Sconce and Constellation Chandelier, not only illuminate spaces but also evoke a sense of wonder and awe, much like the celestial bodies that inspire them.
