Wrensilva and Manny Marroquin Create a Limited Edition Record Console That Redefines Modern Design
When you think of a recording studio, you probably imagine warm lighting, wood-paneled walls, and that unmistakable creative vibe. That exact feeling inspired Wrensilva’s first limited-edition wooden console, the M1 Larrabee Creator Edition, designed in collaboration with multi-Grammy Award–winning engineer Manny Marroquin.
As vinyl records continue to find their way back into homes, Wrensilva celebrates this revival by crafting a record console table that sounds as incredible as it looks — a perfect harmony of modern console design and timeless craftsmanship.

A Collaboration Rooted in Sound and Legacy
Manny Marroquin, renowned for working with Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Usher, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars, is taking cues from his creative home at Larrabee Studios in North Hollywood. Established in 1969, the studio has shaped generations of music and continues to carry that vintage charm under Marroquin’s ownership.
“We’re celebrating 55 years of Larrabee by creating a console that captures the essence of the studio — where every tone and texture feels intentional,” says Marroquin. “It’s not just about listening to music; it’s about living with it.”

A Design That Feels Like Music
Handcrafted in San Diego, California, each Wrensilva M1 Larrabee Creator Edition console embodies the atmosphere of a world-class design studio. Every detail tells a story — from the layered walnut doors and silver-gold speaker grilles to the sleek black metal legs and mocha leather accents.
Limited to just 55 pieces, each console is individually numbered and features Marroquin’s brass-encased monogram alongside the embossed Larrabee Studios logo. The subtle backlit LEDs bring a soft, nostalgic glow, reminiscent of classic studio control rooms.
Studio-Level Sound at Home
But this piece isn’t just about looks — it’s about how it makes you feel. Through hours of fine-tuning and real studio testing, Wrensilva and Marroquin ensured the console delivers true high-fidelity sound.
The M1 features:
- A precision-engineered split-plinth turntable
- Solid-state electronics and Class D amplifiers
- Custom 2-way speakers with 9.5-inch Egyptian Papyrus cone woofers and 1-inch textile dome tweeters
The result? Warm, immersive, and balanced sound that fills your room with the emotion of live recording sessions.
“Collaborating with Manny allowed us to create something more than furniture — it’s an experience,” shares Scott Salyer, Wrensilva’s co-founder. “The M1 blends home furnishings with music culture and design learning.”

A Collector’s Console for Music Lovers
To honor the legacy of Larrabee Studios, each console includes three handpicked vinyl records curated by Marroquin himself. The collection features legendary albums like Ray of Light by Madonna, Dangerous by Michael Jackson, 2001 by Dr. Dre, As I Am by Alicia Keys, and Good Thing by Leon Bridges.
The M1 Larrabee Creator Edition is about more than a wooden console or record console table. It represents the story of how design and sound come together. It’s a collectible that fuses innovation, nostalgia, and artistry — made for those who believe that music is more than just sound.
This modern console enhances any area, whether a living room or design studio, into an intimate place to listen. It isn’t just furniture; it’s a story that carries on.
