Bordeira Coffee Table by Rute Martins: A Tribute to the Algarve Coast
Luxury furniture brand Greenapple once again showcases its commitment to artisan-crafted furniture with the Bordeira Coffee Table, designed by co-founder Rute Martins. Inspired by the unspoiled beauty of Portugal’s Algarve coast, this luxury coffee table seamlessly blends nature’s elegance with contemporary design.
A Design Inspired by Nature
Named after Praia da Bordeira, one of the last untouched coastal areas along the Atlantic, this modern designer furniture piece captures the serene meeting of land and sea. Its flowing curves reflect the movement of waves against golden sands, creating a sense of freedom and harmony in any living space.
“Heading south from the villages of Comporta and Melides, you encounter one of the last untouched areas of the Atlantic Coast, where time seems to stand still, and natural beauty prevails,” explains Greenapple. “This immaculate landscape inspired the Bordeira coffee table, a piece that embodies the effortless elegance of nature.”
Luxury Craftsmanship with a Sustainable Touch
Handmade by skilled artisans in Greenapple’s workshop near Lisbon, the Bordeira Coffee Table is a testament to sustainable luxury furniture. Fully customizable in size and finish, it allows homeowners and designers to create a bespoke piece tailored to their space.
The standard design features:
- Oak legs and base, providing warmth and natural sophistication.
- Brass and onyx tabletop, adding a refined touch of elegance.
- A sustainable build, free from glue or welding, allowing for easy disassembly and recyclability.
By seamlessly blending luxury, sustainability, and craftsmanship, the Bordeira embodies a new era of high-end home décor.
A Modern Statement Piece
With its organic form and sculptural presence, the Bordeira Coffee Table is more than just furniture—it’s a work of art. Whether placed in a minimalist living room or a luxurious interior, it enhances the space with contemporary coffee table design and a natural flow.
As demand for bespoke home furnishings continues to rise, Greenapple sets the standard for Portuguese designer furniture that marries tradition with innovation.
